Navdy - The new age of Navigation?
 

Not sure if anyone's seen Navdy, but with touchless gestures and voice recognition it seems to have me changing my mind about putting a whole unit in the ol' dash. Supposed to be released this summer, though currently available for pre-order.

I know there's been 2 threads on this, one being a little more inuendo with it, but I figured I'd save the viewer the hassle of having to google.:ughdance:

I'll be interested if the unit is out of site from the drivers seat.

I thought about pre-ordering back in the late part of last year/ early in this year. It seems like a really cool product, but the unit looks fairly bulky from the pics I can see. It was brought up on several other forums too that there's very little chance it sells well at its msrp (Could buy a Pioneer AVH-4000Nex for the same price, and run apple carplay through it), so the pre-order deal doesn't seem super appetizing.

It's also a little concerning that they were doing a 30 day pre-order back in December/ January, with a slated release in the spring, and it's now being pushed back to summer.
