close the door *slightly* you can pull it off. (I did this in my car, I know- have a friend help if you don't want your hand crushed)
Once you have it off, you have to pull out the other side of the connector from inside the car. Grab an exacto knife and carefully cut out the UNUSED plastic part at the top of the connector, you can run your wires through there fine. |
