Downgrade 09 Navi/Radio/Ac Controls.
 

Tried searching and I can't find anyone that has done this.

I have a 09 with Bose and Navi. Would I be able to remove the Navi, Radio, and AC Controls (AC is controlled on the Radio) and replace it all with a cubby, base radio, and the base ac control module?

I honestly don't like the Navi. And my end goal would be to do an iPad install into the cubby and have an aftermarket radio.

I know people have said that you can't remove the navi because then I can't see all my AC information, but if I use the base model AC controls then I won't have any need for the screen. Just need to know if the harness' are all the same, and if they are it would all be plug and play correct?

In short the answer is no.

why would you buy a Z with nav/bose if you didn't want it? makes no sense.

You might have better luck going to the Touring Bose instead of the base.
