In the 30+ years I have been involved in car audio, I have installed thousands of pieces of equipment, in every price range you can imagine. Its very rare that I promote a product to the masses, Especially when I have no dog in the fight. These things just simply blew me away, and the price was a big part of it. These are $80 per pair, and perform like speakers 5 or more times the cost. The pics on amazon don't do these things justice. If you buy a set, you'll know what I mean when you open the box, you WILL say to yourself "Holy SH#T". You'll say it again once you get a look at the difference between these and your factory speakers, and a third time when you hear them installed.
That's 3 Holy Sh#ts for $80. Thank me later. lol

that sounds like a great deal then.

cause the base speakers SEVERELY lacks 300-500Hz. it's like some dumbarse EQ'ed it all out and the stereo sounds like a thin piece of shitty plastic.

im seriously going to consider these DD speakers.

Ordered two of these tonight as per your suggestion. My current speakers aren't cutting it, and I need a little more clean mid-bass at high volume. I'll let you know what I think when I get them installed later this week.

I can't wait to get your thoughts, from the time you open the boxes...

so some spacers then plug and play? I just upgraded the HU to a pioneer 4000nex and while stock speakers sound better its painfully obviously they are being pushed too hard lol. I only have base audio

Didn't buy the spacer yet. I was going to see what the audio shop had to install it. The amazon reviews on the spacers listed weren't confident inspiring. Has anyone used those for this instal?

Agreed, the reviews pretty much slammed it. Does anyone know if we can get by with a 15mm (~5/8") spacer?

This one gets some good feedback:
