Calibrated sound in 370Z?

Has anyone on here taken SPL measurements across the audible spectrum to figure out how to best tune/tweak your sound setup? Until this weekend I tuned my speakers based on my ears but this new free s/w I grabbed called REW shows how ugly the freq response is in the car. I haven't invested lots of money into high end gear but I'm really wondering just how good the interior can be made to remove those peaks/dips. Over 15dB is just nasty - see the chart below. FYI - I don't trust the mic above 10khz. The red line is no eq settings the yellow line is after I adjusted my 7 band eq.

Have had mine mic'd on many, many occasions. A friend owns a shop and a termlab meter. of 40 possible points of measurement, My best has been a 37, my 3 missing points being att the extreme low end of the spectrum, 20, 25, and 50Hz.
I currently use TruRTA software to tune my car, and it seems to be pretty dang close to the termlab numbers. All testing is done at 90db.
Points are taken when any octave differs from the next by 2 db or more.
Your curve does not need to be flat, just smooth in its transitions from neighboring octaves.

IMO too much road and engine noise in a Z for calibration really worth it. Just fiddle with it till you find the levels you like/think are best.

All your tuning is for naught once you get rolling and/or add a passenger/cargo. Use your meter to get in the ballpark (you'll never get perfect in a car) and then tweak to suit your ears.

I agree with both above statements. Mine is done strictly for competition purposes, and the occasional demo days at my buddys shop. One EQ setting memory for shows and demos, another for my own personal tastes, and when the old lady, or a friend rides along, switch the listening position to 2 seat.
Being the ridiculous nutjob that I am, I spend a large amount of time (when I have it) sitting in the car in the garage with the charger connected, listening, and decompressing... Its my way of letting go of my stress.....This way I'm not disturbing her TV watching........
when the better half isn't home, I'm in my basement listening room.
