Bose/nav adding subs, need help with wiring LC2i w/factory wiring
Searched and couldn't find what I'm looking for. Basically I'm keeping stock system intact, but replacing factory sub with two 4-ohm SVC JL 10s. I got the amp and got the LC2i. How do I go about hooking this up and what existing wires am I using? I've hooked up all my own audio systems for the past 20 years but never used a line out converter and also hoped somebody could help me with the factory wiring, colors, etc. Reading about the low and high outputs lost me too. Thanks.

After reading it all I'm a bit confused, maybe you can confirm.
So cut and use the 2 sub signal input wires(+/-) going to stock sub. Use it on left input of LC2i. Split it after LC2i into 4 RCAs to amp for 2 subs. Use jumper inside LC2i? What color wires are the sub signal inputs? Will I also be using stock sub remote wire? |
You pretty much got it nailed down. Those sub wire colors are in those posts somewhere.... I don't recall off the top of my head what they were, but I recall reading them there.

I'm not impressed with the Lci2to many issues with bass cutting out and one channel not working. So I ordered a audio control epicenter and a kicker kisloc. My question is can I take the right positive and left positive and connect them together on the kisloc and the same with the negatives and use it as a mono channel since I only have one outputfrom the original Bose sub wire?

that should work, or just pickup an rca splitter.

I used a rcaconverter on mine.....left everything stock ..I just taped the sub wires before the sub amp ......it sounds pretty good and I don't have any issues with it. I even left the factory subs where they were ...added a single 12 in a custom box.
