I know Ipad minis are pretty much perfect for the hole but are there any androids that are close? |

I think most go with Android Nexus tablet it seems, easy to fit, throw in a custom ROM and a few extra controls and you never have to take it out. Powers up when the car is on (and off when the car shuts off), bluetooth, good quality screen, etc.

I believe the Nexus 7 is almost identical to the iPad mini. At least I know that my N7 fits over the cubby very similarly.

IMG_20150417_202952_2.jpg The gap around the sides/bottom is ugly and I plan on filling it in later, but for now i need it for all my temp wiring (and to press the power button on the tablet) Also, sorry for shitty phone camera. Last edited by Knio; 04-18-2015 at 04:29 AM. |

I like the stock head unit, it works just fine. Plus its the touring no nav, so I would have had to get a base face plate and a new head unit. I only use the tablet for gauges and google maps. Plus this way the tablet is removable for updates, changes, anti-theft blah blah.
