Default Thoughts on this setup?

Not a huge audiophile, but I do enjoy quality sound reproduction. More to the point, clarity and balance. Stock speakers seem to despise such a notion.

For my budget (<$250), I have arrived at this setup:
- Polk Audio DB6501 Component Speakers
- Polk Audio PA660 4 Channel Amp

Could I ask you car audio gurus for input on this combo? Pretty strong reviews for the speakers. Amp has limited, but positive, reviews. Amp power should match up well to speakers. Might sound stupid (because plenty of people mix/match car audio brands), but I like the idea of keeping brand uniformity (OCD ).

Note: At this point, I do not require a sub. But I will run the wires for that option down the road.
