Stagered tyres

What are the advantages and disadvantages of staggered tyres ?

Owned 28 different cars in 35 years but never had stagered tyres

I love the look.. Cons tire prices suck bc you have 2 different sizes on ur car...I have had it on a few cars and love it! Would highly recommend!

narrower front tires allow better steering response, less tramlining, better overall input from car.

wider tires on rear allow better traction under throttle for rwd.

i guess similar principle for slight diameter difference too. smaller total diameter = more direct feel, larger = less. the front/rear difference is very small though on the Z so more in the width of the tires and wheels.

nope. its purely a safety issue. too many idiots crash the cars. the narrow front tires will give the car less chance of over steer or throttle lift snap

To sum it quickly...
PRO: Better traction in the rear and an overall better stance
CONS: Cost of tires go up and can't rotate tires.
