Default Help : Resistor for airbag - Aftermarket Seats

Hi all

Upgrading seats for my 2008 G37 Coupe.
Which resistor will works?

I’ve seen:

4.7 Ohm 1/2 Watt
2.2 Ohm 1/2 Watt
2 Ohm 2 Watt

I assume the yellow connector MUST be used from old seats… any places to source connector?

Are there plug and play options?

For the passenger occupancy seat portion I went with airbag360’s module

Many thanks!

Use the one that's specified in the original How-to post about adding aftermarket seats; I can't recall off the top of my head but that's what I went by and haven't had any issues.

There are no plug and play options to my knowledge.

One note with the airbage360 module: The module emulates having someone in the seat. So, you will need to either leave your passenger seat belt connected or purchase one of the blanks that go into the buckle otherwise the airbag light will still flash. I've "heard" the light won't come on if the plug that goes to the buckle under the seat isn't connected, but I can't verify that.

Thanks Northstyle!

That’s the thing I’ve see a lot of variations of this resistor, just want to get the right one!
