Considering FPR vented fenders and looking for a ball park cost for fitting, prepping, painting and installing these. Paint will be pearl white.

In case anyone else was wondering. This is what Aerojacket estimated.
In cali it cost about $350-400 to paint a pair and about 160 for install

depends on your location. Some places really are cheaper than others, when it comes to painting and install.

PW is a hard color to match so I would be careful and remember you get what you pay for

I wish that was my quote I received. My quote here in Gainesville was 1100$ for my aerojacket fenders. They stated the Pearl White paint was a difficult color and would require blending with the hood and front bumper.
And thus, I haven't painted mine as of yet. |

I ordered the fenders and decided to start looking for a shop. First place is a place I trust and expected it to be probably the highest in town, but it would be top notch work. $850 to install and paint. He recommended blending the doors and said $1350 would be pretty close, plus $50\hr for any finishing needed on the fiberglass.
I was expecting it to be more than $5-600, but more than double seems a bit much. If I knew the paint would match, I'd be able to swallow $850, but then again, it would suck if it was obviously different. Best I can tell, he is adding almost 11 hrs labor to swap fenders and prep the doors for blending. That seems high. ![]()

Changed my order to full carbon fiber fenders and plan to leave the vents unpainted. This should get rid of the blending issue with the doors. I'd also think the finish will be better than the FRP. I know there is still a small area that will need to match against the hood, but think its small enough to not be big deal.
