if you i chip my 370z would i void my warrenty, if so could i take it off when needed and just put it back on after? also heard that they have to prove that what i put under the hood has to be at fault somewhat that is giving the car the issue at hand if i take it in?

Yes, the dealer will have to prove that what you did to the car is what broke it for them to get out of covering the repairs. It's always best to revert to a stock map before bringing your car in for service if you do have a programmer/ecu.
