I like Frost's idea of custom avatars to Premium only......... have a few canned avatars for non-premium, if you feel the need to allow them something.

AK, you should look into this, I used paypal for my first year payment but really do not like using it.

Not trying to cause AK any grief, but I am also not a fan of paypal.

VBulletin is setup with paypal to auto upgrade instantly.

I have no problem with the new pricing. You could even back charge me the extra funds for the renew and I'll still won't complain. One of the best "Z" forums and best value IMHO.

Paying for Premium Membership is NOT limited to paypal. You can pay with cash, money order, cashiers check, personal check etc. I'll provide you with address if you pm me.

I wholeheartedly support charging more for being a premium member. I also support reducing the benefits of free members, and increasing the benefits for premium members. I'll likely become a premium member.

From my perspective (realize everyone is in a "different place"), $1.666_ a month (OK I'm a stickler for decals) is a nominal fee, especially for new 370Z owners who, if they ARE like me, may have an insatiable quest for information about their new "toy" - I've learned more from this forum in the last week than I ever would have expected.

Totally support the price increase. myG37 charges around $30 for a premier and guess what, you get all the lame keyword search ads etc..

I agree with reducing non-premier benefits. Unbold their usernames to start with and remove their avatars ;) This would make premier members stand out more which will in turn make everyone want to become premier.
