Thanks Mike! yes I did saw yesterday that we have reached 1000 threads. It's quite an achievement. Big thanks goes out to all the dedicated members to our forums. Thanks for keeping this place alive.

We have also just hit 1000 members! wow, I knew we are going to cross 1000 members eventually but I didn't think it would be possible within 3 months!

I thank everyone for their contribution to The370Z.com. THANK YOU!

A.K.

nogoodname 01-04-2009 02:56 PM

cool....1000 on the member odometer...

it's really picking up now

AK370Z 01-04-2009 05:55 PM

wow... almost 1040 members now and that's just in one day! Since the release of the 370Z in the states (after Jan 2nd), I have seen a 30% increase in visit numbers meaning more new people are checking the forums (and current members are visiting the forum more often):excited:

Damn, someone gave this forum some miracle grow and threw it under a 1000watt light.

At this rate, in a month from now we can change the chemicals and get this forum to start budding. :D

Hello,

Does anyone have a rough estimate of how many 370's have actually sold at this point? I.E. -- when will the number of members on this board come close to the number of z34's actually sold to the public?

Darren

Won't know until the end of the month when manufacturers release their January sales numbers. They usually get posted on the Nissan PR page, but Autoblog is an easy way to find them as well.

On a related note, this thread seems to be a good measure of how many 370Z owners are currently on this forum. The mods/admins generally direct the new owners to add a reply here: http://www.the370z.com/new-370z-owne...0z-sticky.html

That thread has probably 65% of the new Z owners. I see everyday 5-8 new 370Z owners sign up but only 1-2 post their price in that that or make a "new owner" thread about it. take a look at this owner Nissan 370Z Forum - dainedazz's Album: Daine's 370z!. There are so many just like him without a post or any interaction.

#2 :driving:

for other members, I can look it up ;)

Crash 02-23-2009 01:27 AM

There's a few different ways: In firefox I can use firebug to see the span/div IDs and figure it out that way. But if you don't want to deal with that, you can go to your user panel and look at the u=? at the end of the "find all posts by shumby" under statistics. So, by doing so, I can see your user ID is 610.

Keep in mind that I've been building web sites for many years, so I can generally guess what the other programmers have done to make the site work right. When you use AJAX (which this site does) you need to give divs/spans unique IDs so the easiest way to do that is to assign them with a pre-fab forename the user ID.

shumby 02-23-2009 01:28 AM

610........... I am such a follower

Crash 02-23-2009 01:29 AM

Lol! Honestly, I thought you were here before me. :D

shumby 02-23-2009 01:35 AM

na Nogood told me about this site because Myg37 was getting to be a bit too much. Us guys and gals on here are much better and alot more helpfull too

BanningZ 02-23-2009 03:46 AM

Wow I actually thought Shumby was here before me too. Now I see hes Dec and I'm Nov.
Crash I'm trying to figure out where I find the number you listed.

Where is that?

BanningZ 02-24-2009 04:18 AM

Now I'm curious. What is my number AK?

Crash 02-24-2009 10:32 AM

^^ You're 282. :) Sorry, was busy all day yesterday. Didn't get a chance to get at the board.

Go into your user profile. Click on Contact Info and mouse-over the private message link. At the bottom of your browser it tells you were that link goes to. At the end of the link you'll see a "u=" and then a number. That number is your user ID.

nogoodname 02-24-2009 12:07 PM

what's my number....lol
