Default Ams inc gumball 3000 recap!

RECAP of one of of more memorable trips

Well what I can I say other than that I am still recuperating! The Gumball 3000 Canadian leg was attended by AMS INC. essentially travelling from Toronto to Quebec City and then staying and participating in the partying at Chateau Frontenac and surrounding venues before cruising back on the official leg from Quebec City to Toronto!

It is really difficult to explain and pictures hardly capture the spirit of the event! Insane is a pretty good word. We'll illustrate our experience in the snapshots below!

Day 1 of our trip:

Embarking in two of AMS INC's corporate vehicles (996T & Aston Martin DB9)

About 2.5 hrs into our journey our 996T rear tire blows out at 'undisclosed' speed. Lucky the 996 comes with a collapsable spare unlike the 997T. Our friends at Talon Tire in Montreal were able to source an emergency tire - very hard to find a 315/25/19!:

Halfway between Montreal and Quebec City some really nasty weather! We filmed some cloud formations forming a funnel right above us!

We finally arrived at the Chateau Frontenac (regarded as one of the places to stay while in Quebec and official Gumball Hotel):

Once we unloaded the luggage the corporate cars were escorted by hotel staff to the Gumball designated parking:

Time for a quick bite to each at one of the establishments and some well needed rest:

Day 2 - Ready to Rock!

We started the day with a traditional meal:

Quick tour around Historic Quebec right outside the hotel - seems like some nocturnal creatures roam the streets lol:

Before the cars started rolling in from their Maine USA journey to Quebec we stocked up on essential supplies - the ice machine on our floor was literally emptied to fill our bathtub cooler conversion!:

AMS Models in our im-promptu salon getting ready. Just for the curious they are sisters :

Crowd starting to converge within the entrance of the Gumball (very strict access with AMS in the thick of things):

GUMBALL 3000 Cars start rollin in around 7 PM:

The ultimate in vehicle design - the Bugatti made the crowd rumble!

AMS Model with the Bugatti Owner (Very humble and cool guy):

Now you wouldn't think I would pass off a chance to sit in it now would you - the quality and attention to detail in design is literally second to none!

AMS Crew with Monster Energy Drink Models:

Popo not giving anyone breathing room even while parked! They were inspecting vehicles literally!:

Xzbit rollin in his $200,000 Cayenne GTS and chatting with AMS crew with AMS Baseball Cap in hand literally!:

Hanging with Gumball all-star Richard. He jumped our of his ride a requested a beer and women! AMS obliged and supplied to obligatory 'Heineken' and model lol:

Some impromtu photos from our underground parking lot shoot! The lot was patrolled by 4 officers and accessable only by Gumballers and affiliates of hotel:

Random shots:

Some hotel room Pre-Party shots with our French Connections and Gumballer:

We were then off to the exclusive Gumball Bash - Quebec knows how to PARTY!:

After some heavy indulging some greasy food is needed to battle the effects the next day - traditional 'POUTINE'

Day 3 - Can we even get up??? - 3 HRS of sleep and a 9 hr drive on a good day with no drama! COPS everywhere! We are talking they were out full force on every corner of the highway! No taxpayer dollar spared!

Eve's Bentley being booked for speeding! It looks like every ticket in the book was given to All Gumballers and sports cars! We were slapped with a hefty $650 usage of radar device in the 996T (confiscation as well) and the DB9 Pulled twice for no front plate! Lots of revenue generation!

This was another EPIC road trip and shows a fraction of the happenings! All the videos and additional pics will be uploaded online within the web-site, Facebook and You-Tube! Stay tuned!

Sweet pics!

I had heard the PoPo were being hard on the Gumballers between Quebec and Toronto... $650 for using the Radar detector!? WOW! Last time I got tagged for that it was $150... it was a few years ago...

Will you guys do the Gumball again?

Likely will check out the tour this year since it is crossing town Will post the details when we getting closer to the date.

The pop were literally everywhere and out of control. Lots of wasted resources!
