I had ordered some custom Nike's when the 2004 Tsunami hit Indonesia, i had to wait an extra 6 months for them, i was so pissed.
Jordo, your point that the OP can't be a little pissed about his car, despite the horrific events that obviously overshadow the importance of a vehicle he ordered is kind of ridiculous. It's like if you live in an apartment building that burns to the ground and you and your family make it out safely, and others do not, that somehow you aren't allowed to be upset that every single one of your wordly possessions is now burnt to a crisp.
Plus, this is a car forum.... the OP isn't seeking out people who have lost family and loved ones in Japan and complaining about his car to them. he's posting it on a 370z forum, it's really NOT that inappropriate.
One can always play the 'there are others with greater misfortune' card. No one really wants to have it pushed in their face. If someone gets into a car accident and is sad that their Z is totaled, should you go in and post and talk about how you saw some horrific accident where someone died and they shouldn't complain about their car? There is always someone who has it worse. I'm sure there is someone in Japan who's entire family was killed, and was exposed to tons of radiation, and guess what? there's someone out there that, in some way, has it worse than even that person. So let the OP complain about his car and stop trying to make him feel like an asshole.
There have been natural disasters, genocides, and many other terrible tragedies in the world, but that doesn't mean if you get a flat tire or bend one of your brand new Volk's that you're not allowed to be upset.
