Dude... if you don't understand how these are entirely different matters I really don't know what to tell you.

I'm sure he's a very nice guy and meant no harm (whereas I am clearly a prick and feel obligated to give him some sh!t ), but it shows a monumental lack of consideration for others who have had their lives pretty much ruined or permanently changed for the worse from this disaster.

Basically, he (and everyone else whining about how the worst disaster in Japan's history inconvenienced them) are just being incredibly thoughtless and self-absorbed.

So self absorbed, in fact, he had no problem seeking support from a crowd of strangers on a public forum, and expected people to be concerned with his problems and sympathetic.

Well, sometimes you get criticism instead of hugs.

Oh well.
