Hey man - I used to have an evo x - they are not all that great when it comes to driver / car feed back - the first couple times you drive it hard are amazing as you are constantly amazed at how the car hugs - but I definately have a lot more car/driver involvement with my G35 / the 370. I would really take it out for a test drive.
But if you just want the car for drag etc - cant beat the evo
And just to let you know the lack of a 6th gear means 80 on the Hwy = 41XX RPM
