I've got a 370Z Touring Sport Package on hold that I can get VPP pricing on so great deal, and I"m looking at the 2012 Mustang GT 5.0. I've seen some discussion on that car or someone talking about it, what do you guys think. I've got about 2 days to decide for sure.
I'd buy two cars. Perhaps a used G35 now for the kids and in a year or so when the 2012's arrive get your fun car. G35's seem bulletproof as far as maintenance and are affordable.

My old car was totaled too and I had to hurry up and get another car pronto. I chose the Z without regret. No kids either. My dad had a sports car all his life and convinced my mom a 2+2 would be a good family car. It was not and we always went places, as a family, in mom's car. The Mustang is like a 2+2, poor as far as leg room goes. It can hold more groceries than the Z, but that being said, I prefer the Z, as it is a sports car.
