Well I don't have the stillen exhaust but I do have the fast intentions exhaust which is similar. I can tell you that there is definitely a performance boost as well as better sound. Before my Nismo I had a touring sport that I had my FI exhaust on. My Z was then totaled and I salvaged the exhaust. When I got my Nismo the first thing I did was swap exhaust. The stock NISMO exhaust is just too quiet for me. Honestly didn't notice much difference over the stock exhaust off my non-NISMO when it came to sound. I honestly wasn't expecting a performance boost from swapping exhaust on my NISMO but was presently surprised when it was there. The NISMO exhuast is only good for about 7hp over stock while CBE's like Stillen and FI are good for 15-18hp over stock. So when compared to NISMO you are still looking at a 8-11hp gain. Also, aftermarket CBE's are much lighter as well.
