The dirt pattern on the front tires appeared to get more contact with the ground possibly because you turn with them. When you make turns, your front wheels make positive contact on the outer part of the tire thus judging from the dirt marks, it makes sense. Your rear wheels stay consistently in the same contact patch whether driving in a straight line or making turns.
