Default DIY Rim Paint

OK after much research and contemplation i got up the nerve to black out my stock rims. If you plan to do it your self i highly recommend these essential items: 320 grit sandpaper block, Acetone, a high quality primer 2cans, and high quality matte black engine paint, and index cards. Also i recommend simple green cleaner and a perfectionist for a girlfriend.. more on that later: Having four jack stands makes everything go so much smoother.. I borrowed two from a friend and bought 2 more for 20.00 with all paint and accessories i paid right around 45.00 for pretty much my dream rims.. The biggest thing is making sure the rims are completely spotless, thats where the girlfriend comes in handy lol! Acetone down the rims sand until white and smooth.. then two coats of primer two coats of paint, one or two coats of clear coat and ur good to go... make sre you let them dry for a full 24 hours before you mount them.. I am so proud that these came out exactly as i say them in my head
