Insurance companies hate young drivers in general, which is understandable. Most are horrible drivers, which sucks for young responsible drivers.
it honestly just seems totally random to a certain extent. one would think a 94 300zx twin turbo would cost more to insure for a 22 year old than an 89 cherokee, but alas, it makes no sense. the quote i got for the 300 is 645, which is less than the thousand you paid for the cherokee.
