I believe those offsets are more appropriate for a 350Z and G. To play devil's advocate, people want to customize to make their's look different than everyone else's, but not everyone can afford $4G+ for customized, "authentic", or branding to look different. Thus they are willing to live with sacrifices, such as optimal fitment, weight, finish, etc...to stay within their means.

We each have our opinions and are free to express it on an open public forum, but ultimately it's the buyer's (OP) choice.
