Default 2ND Annual Spring Cruise & (clay) Pigeon Shoot - APRIL 23, 2011

2ND Annual Spring Cruise & (clay) Pigeon Shoot

Sponsored by the Middle Tennessee Z Club
With much appreciated help from
The Montgomery County Shooting Complex

Hold the date for the Second Annual Spring Cruise and (clay) Pigeon Shoot on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Trophies awarded for "Best Shot of The Day" and "Runner Up Best Shot of The Day" with a special award for "Least Threatening to Clay Pigeons".

Guy or gal, expert clay target shooter or complete novice, you’ll have a lot of fun at this event (if you don't believe me just ask anyone who went last year) – no one needs to feel “left out” (experienced instructors will be there to guide those who are new to the world of clay pigeon shooting).

Of course, you can bring your own shotgun but for those who need it, appropriate shotguns can be rented on site and ammunition and other items are available for sale.

I'll post more about costs but it should be approximately the same as last year (around $42 assuming three rounds of skeet).

We'll change things up a bit this year with the "cruise" happening on our way to the shooting complex over some of the best roads our area has to offer (the route will NOT disappoint!). This will allow us to arrive earlier and finish earlier for those who have a long trip home!

Also, some have expressed an interest in staying after the skeet shooting to throw some rounds down the rifle and/or pistol ranges so we'll try to work that in as well.

This IS a weather dependent event but let's hope for a warm, sunny spring day!

More details will be posted as they become available.
