lol I'm guessing you got too used to Honda's because unlike the vtec, the VVEL doesn't kick in yo.

Look at torque curves and you'll notice the flatness throughout the entire rpm, that's VVEL my friend.

You're lucky the owner of that Z isn't on this forum haha
