Similar in theory to the rotary engine. Good claims, but worthless without an actual working prototype mounted to an real car. Belive it or not, most modern engines are relatively lightweight compared to the amount of power they put out. Its everything else that goes into the car that adds weight. Take a look at the Lotus Elise for example. Same engine as a Corolla, but thats not the reason why its fast.
