As far as the picture quality, I think that guy that commented was just trying to offer some advice, although he could have been more subtle about it. You did say it wasn't a pro-shoot. Personally, I think whoever took these has a good eye for composition. It is what it is, and doesn't need analyzing. You gotta admit though, some of them are really blurry.
