It seemed that the life time of both those parts was approximately two years/46,000 miles give or take a few months.

I didn't have any problems with my cats or the rear hatch...
I had my cats removed Asap once I got to Germany cause I had a complete header back exhaust. It was nice. Since I'd debadged it, and it wasn't sold there, to them my tC was an 'exotic'
