Whether it's against the law or not, that bit you'll have to take on yourself...
For me, I have a Mag. Black Z. I have the side windows @ 25% and the rear window with 25% and another strip on so it's more like 10-15%. On the front I have 50% to block out some of the sun here in Phoenix. And I can say it's stock because with the darker side windows, you can't really tell it's even there... If a cop were to look, he'd be hard pressed to find where the tint is on the front. He'd have to go out of his way to be a douche to prove it.
