Though I don't think I'd ever buy a 'Stang, I'm amazed at the engine. I know there's a big price diff, but want to get an idea what's traded off. That mill needs to go places, and if DI w/a power boost... wow.
My Dad has a 'Stang, 40th Anniv. - it's always been his dream car. He totalled his '67 3spd in the late 70's and walked away unscratched - thank God. But I'm never gonna forgive him - I'm sure that was supposed to be my hand-me-down.
If it had come to pass, I probably would've wound up test driving and purchasing a current model Mustang.
