Default OEM tow hook as front bumper protection

I decided to install the tow hook with electrical tape so it tightens up without fully screwed in. It sticks out about 2-3 inches from the tip of the bumper. Doesn't look JDM or whatever (and I'm not using it for towing purposes before anyone flames) but its subtle and should keep ******** from backing into my car.
I'm sure people living in not so crowded areas don't have to worry about this but I definitely gets paranoid anytime I have to parallel park in tight spots where I live. Anyone living in a busy city can feel me on this.
..now if there was some way to protect the rear bumper (without using those ugly De-Fenders)..
