optimal flow will vary according to effective VE of motor at different RPM's.
Better flowing exhaust will often help you higher in the rev range because better effective VE to take advantage of it, but at lower RPM, the greater available air mass actually slows flow, so you lose some low speed torque.
Be nice if VVEL could be tuned to work around that...
