Solus, I used to run nitrous in my Maxima. We tuned it for when the nitrous was not in use. When the nitrous kicks in, the ECU is supposed to automatically retard the timing (i.e., no tune needed to retard the timing). Could further gains have been attained while nitrous was on with a 'nitrous-on' ECU map? Maybe. But given how infrequently the nitrous was on, relative to when it was off, it just wasn't worth the hassle. Plus, it was plenty quick enough when the nitrous kicked in. So, FWIW, that's how I did it on my Maxima, and it ran both reliably as well as with good results. Hope that helps.
