Just because you're driving an M5 does not mean you "understand" how to handle power. An M5 is a sport luxury saloon. It's a huge car that happens to have a lot of power. People get killed driving EVOs that put out 260 because they thought they could handle that "that small turn" before they ended up across the street, rolled over in the ditch. I know someone who was 17 when he lost control of his bugeye and wrapped the thing around a pole. You seem to think that since the Z has 332 crank and the M5 has 500 crank that the Z is automatically easier to control.
The Z, in comparison, has much less weight and a comparable power weight ratio. It has a smaller wheel base, which also equates to less control. It's also made mostly of aluminum. You crash at a significant speed and you'll be dead.
Do yourself a favor and buy something you can afford to build. A 350Z is a better choice, not going to lie. Parts are cheaper and proven. An 08 350Z was my initial plan.
