The last time we had asteroid fever was what back in the early 90s when scientists discovered the asteroid 9099 or what ever they call it was heading our way. There were plenty movies about it. And now its getting closer to the time of pending doom j/k we are seeing more asteroid movies coming out with a mix of aliens wanting to take our planet. If this asteroid is going to miss our planet then why is NASA planning a contingency just in case, hmmm.
