If you were first making a purchase and didn't have either yet, this would be a more reasonable question. But, if you have the cash to make the change, it's still reasonable.
The only strong functional aspect for the coupe is if you plan to track the car. Roadsters can get denied from many events unless you have a formal cage installed.
Tracking out of the question, I'd vote for the roadster these days. The gorgeous summer days have had me wishing I could retract the top and hear the sweet sound of the exhaust. I'd suggest installing an aftermarket exhaust so you can really hear the Z let loose with the top down.
