here you go, tanooki-
>1) Vegas isn't _that_ cold, but on cold mornings how long to you guys let
give it a good 30sec and drive off. no need to warm up the car, especially not unless you're sub -20F. just drive gently until the water temp is up to about middle and your oil temp is around 180F. that's about when is start pushing it pretty gooooood.
>2) I find engaging second gear to be a bit sharp on the bite - I can pull off
just give it a touch of gas as you normally do when you engage to maintain flywheel momentum. just drive gently and you'll get the hang of it. the clutch appears to engage around the middle but it starts engaging pretty low near the floor.
>3) What little extras/add-ons should I get first? Small shiz like locking wheel
wheel locks could help, but if your car's parked out doors get an aftermarket alarm system with tilt sensor. that will deter most theives trying to steal your wheels. as far as wax, i use Griot's Garage and Prima stuff.

or go to Phil's shop, he's a vendor here and carries Prima stuff:

>4) Someone told me using the Cruise control uses more gas than not. I fail
usually it uses less as it's computer controlled rather than lead-foot of new excited Z-er.
>5) How much of a hit does the MPG take when the AC is on with the Z?
no idea, but my AC is on all the time...well, in auto-mode.
>6) I f--cking span the wheels in THIRD yesterday. THIRD GEAR. I was like
new tires require breakin to remove release oil from the mold. it's also possible your tires are still cold. keep psi 35-37 cold (measure in the morning in your garage or before sun comes up cause heat from sun will increase psi and throw off your readings).
>7) Where are the VEGAS PEOPLE?! I wanna get involved in this Vegas Z
no idea.
>8) Any general tips guys? Any pointers on operation, cleaning, or just
nissan paint is soft so use the softest clay you can find (i use Griot's mud-like yellow clay only on nissan paint) and use 2 bucket method when washing your car in the shade. learn more in the detailing section.
