This would be a mistake even if it weren't a rumor. The CR-Z would be selling like crazy if it had a 160-200 hp all gas engine in it. Instead, its barely creeping along. If I could order it from the factory with an empty engine bay and sans batteries I would.
Besides, any car that cuts its A/C off at traffic lights in a 100 degree weather just to "save gas" is full of fail.

Turbo 4 isn't bad. Tis a shame it doesn't come with a v6 but you can do a lot with a factory turbo engine.
