its not the car, its your driving. You can get the car moving as low as like 1200 rpm or without causing too much wear you can start off at like 2k, the lower the better as far as your clutch's longevitiy is concerned. When you start to feel the clutch grab, don't just let go, thats when you want to release smoothly, not freak out.
