Also, the Z went from 287hp in 2003 and ended at 306hp in 2008. However the changes were much deeper than that, as the HR engines were far superior to the DE engines that the 2003's came with.

Do not forget that the SAE HP ratings standards changed between these models. The HP increase was more like 30 to 35 over the DE.
