oh is he (honestly i dont know).
cause ive been modding cars much longer than a 'couple years back' and i dont feel they were the first ones or really remember seeing much about them to "bring back 3pcs wheels."
maybe the guys i hung out with weren't really car-forum type but i can say expensive 3pcs wheels were around more than a decade ago in the US and continue to be.
