Heh, now I'm going to throw you for another loop. The manual says that the fobgina is there in case your battery runs low, then you can still start your car by sticking it in the fobgina, right? Well get this. I can't remember who it was, but someone told me that our ignition runs on RFID, and the battery isn't even required to start the car -- the battery is for the remote operations only, like locking/unlocking, panic button, etc. So I decided to put this claim to the test. I removed the battery from my fob completely, went and sat in my car, hit the start button, and guess what? It fired right up! So it really doesn't make sense for the manual to say that if your battery runs low you can stick it into the fobgina to start the car, because you don't need any battery whatsoever to start the car! It's bizarre.
