Typeone- The op is just reflecting on the nostalgia the petrol car and how they need to make way for the new EV. I think the EV car will actually make more room petrolheads to have fun by keeping the DD's more economical and bringing out the gas hogs for more spirited drives.

One thing that was striking about the artical was the menton of the smell factor. That really strikes a chord with me. When I had my '72 240z it had a lot of disticnt smells in it. One of the distinct smells was the lead additive that I had to add to the unleaded fuel.
