Lowering the car lowers the center of gravity which improves handling. If your roads are not screwed up like ours here in texas, it can be a nice handling and styling boost to lower your Z. For me I only have 3/4" clearance at stock ride height getting out of my own driveway, so the best I can do is get coilovers and drop it a tiny bit.
