I made a boot tie down from a faucet spacer and zip ties. This allowed me to shorten the boot slightly & allowed for lowest knob location on the shaft.
Here is the boot stretched in reverse.
My goal was an OEM look! The short shifter shifts just like an R8 (which is gated) but shorter throws. Very happy with both products!!
The shift knob is TWMPerformance Type R satin finish engraved (currently on sale).
