Default BGTV8 Dyno Sheet

Out of interest, I ran my car for a couple of power runs today on a Dynapack chassis dyno (rear wheels are removed and the hubs bolted to the torque sensing devices).

We ran several different configurations:

1. S-mode on
2. S-mode off
3. air-box cover removed

Best torque figure was S-mode off and we got 318Nm at 4700rpm, which translates to 215.6Kw @ 7178. The torque curve is flat from 3500 rpm to 6500 with a small peak/bump between 4500 and 5000 (I guess where the VVEL goes to max lift and max cam timing).

There is less than 4Nm difference between best and worst run, so I am pretty happy with the results.

The only mods to the car (engine-wise) are Stillen headers, BERK HFC and Austrlain-made Hi-Tech stainless CBE.

Given the fact that removing the air-box cover made no difference, I am thinking that CAI won't do much for me at all.

Dyno sheet attached.
