I finished all the basics and I got 3 classes left to get into the actual nursing program.
I am doing microbiology this semester and summer I will be anatomy 1 and summer II will be anatomy 2
then hopefully I will be accepted into the nursing program by this fall semester 2011.
I'm really happy because after high school i dropped out of college because I did not like it.. I am more of a technical person. My passion is within cars and I really wanted to learn to work on them and get my ASE stuff done.. but I'm back in college after listening to my parents haha. My mom's a dentist and my dad's a medical technologist. Both in the medical field and they said they will pay for me to go college and major in medical because there will always be a job in that field. I was close to going to a college nearby to get an associates degree in automotive, but after reading testimonials about people from the automotive field, I chose to dedicate myself to become a nurse haha.
I still have my passion for cars, always have been passionate about them since I came to America when I was 11. I'm sure after I finish my nursing degree, I will have the time and money to learn how to work on cars as a hobby.

I have to study hard. They are taking only 20 people and last fall over 150+ applied.

One of the things that's great about nursing is that you can move just about anywhere and still find a job. They're always in demand.
