When I swapped my hoses on my 350 I just drained the radiator, pulled the hoses off. Put new ones on. Refilled radiator and then let the car run with the cap off and fill as it warms a cycles threw. Never had any air in the system. I also believe there's a air bleeder valve at the heater hose near the firewall if you want to open it up till fluid poors out then close up. Just keep checking until you feel it's good. You also might want to park on a slight hill if you open the bleeder valve.
