You'll probably get a lot of feedback on the trailer hitch. I think for practicality you wouldn't want to put one through there anyway. Through the movement of hitch and trailer, you could easily rip the outer bumper.
A lot of us have replaced the fog "slug" with an actual foglight. Used mine in the snow today.
